    Summary
    The primary purpose of the Senior Analyst, Operations Administration is to create, process, review, and track billing invoices while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of customer billing requirements.

    Compensation Range
    $50,000-$65,000/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

    Responsibilities
    Operations Billing
    Process and maintain tracking of all types of billing to customers based upon valid information from ITMS’s queries, Logistics and Port Operations
    Create and/or process A/P and A/R invoices: Standard Transportation and Port Processing, Port Stock Transfers, Cross-Shipments, and PIO Part and Non-Part
    Train incoming Billing Analyst in all forms of billings (manual and automated) for all customers
    Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
    Produce measurable results on process improvement projects
    Resolve discrepancies in accounting records
    Keep records of invoices and support documents
    Consult sources such as rate books, manuals, or insurance company representatives to determine specific charges or information such as rules, regulations, or government tax and tariff information
    Customer Service
    Generate ideas to improve process and execute Change Request to IT for development
    Prepare necessary AR and AP backup for all pass-through invoicing
    Preparation of worksheets from source data
    Timely distribution of customer rejected invoices to appropriate department for resolution, and timely re-billing of resolved rejected invoices
    Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts
    Contact customers to obtain or relay account information
    Collections & Special Projects
    Assist in AR collection
    Special projects as assigned
    Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts
    Other Duties as Assigned

    Skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
    Proficient with PCs
    Intermediate-level skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook required
    Experience using database management systems is required
    The ability to follow directions and enforce corporate and departmental policies and procedures
    Must possess interpersonal skills in order to work with other departments in resolving various billing issues
    Ability to recognize critical issues that require management involvement
    Excellent time-management and organizational skills required
    Must possess the ability to multi-task and shift critical focus quickly

    Education & Experience

    High School Diploma/G.E.D is required
    Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
    1 – 2 years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
    Experience in Port Operations, Accounting, Billing, Financial Analysis, and/or Vehicle Logistics is preferred

    Physical Requirements
    Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
    Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
    Stand/walk
    Carry/lift a maximum of 15 pounds
