Senior Accountant Position
Multi chain gourmet sandwich company (15 store and growing) is looking for an analytical and responsible accountant who will be able to oversee its finances. Please see the job requirements and qualifications we’re looking for below, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
Areas of Responsibilities:
· Responsible for preparing monthly journal entries, reconcile G/L accounts & analysis
· Prepare monthly standalone and consolidated financial statements
· Prepare various financial analysis reports such as cost, budget, and trend analysis
· Prepare month end work-paper binder
· Review daily sales report and input data into monthly worksheet
· Support controller with annual compilation and review reports
· Prepare various financial analysis such as cost, budget, ratio, and trend analysis
· Assist controller in preparing monthly P & L meeting with operation staff
· Perform monthly audit on daily sales reports, operating funds and compliance of rules and regulations
· Communicate and collaborate with operation staff for various accounting matters.
· Update banking transactions and prepare bank reconciliation
· Reconcile credit card transactions and analyze processing fee
· Manage accounts payable and cash disbursements
· Manage accounts receivables and cash receipts
· Identify and reconcile intercompany transactions
· Prepare, record payroll and deductions schedules
Job Requirements, Requisite Education and Work Experience:
· BS/BA degree in accounting required, MS/MA/MBA degree in accounting in plus, CPA preferred
· An experienced accountant with at least 3-5 years in Accounting.
· Experienced with Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.
· A proactive collaborator with a flexible style.
· A strong analytical thinker.
· Exceptional English and Korean oral and written communication skills required – must be capable of answering the phones and provide courteous, prompt and efficient problem solving service
- Must have the ability to research and resolve issues and communicate the resolution to the satisfaction of internal and external clients.
