Supply Chain Specialist
Position Summary:
Responsible for all worldwide functions related to Procurement, Materials Requirements Planning, Shop floor control, Logistics, Order management and inventory management to manage and improve delivery performance, product quality, productivity, cost and inventory management.Responsibilities:
Master Scheduling – Responsible for the preparation and management of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Plan and schedule monthly meeting with perspective stakeholders. Provide ongoing rolling forecasts to suppliers and review/update accordingly.
Materials Requirements Planning – Work with the Buyer/Planner to ensure all necessary PO’s needed to support the MPS (externally) are issued to suppliers and maintained/expedited/re-scheduled as needed. Planning of Strips requirements (internally) requires constant maintenance and feedback loop to ensure the plan is met.
Purchasing – Review and approve all purchase orders for materials requirements as well as all other MRO requirements to support the organization, which adhere to Company SOP’s and controls.
Logistics – Work with suppliers to ensure provide mode and method of transport to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Lead annual review of freight suppliers’ performance and costs to meet budget and delivery expectations.
Supplier Maintenance- Schedule meetings as necessary (weekly for key suppliers) to stay engaged and provide feedback and guidance to suppliers regarding all open orders and ongoing project launches and product priorities. Responsible for review and sign-off of all product relevant ECO’s, artworks changes and associated coordination, disposition and timing of changes, including scrap management of WIP. Prepare end-of-year pricing details for the finance department in support of standard cost updates.
Inventory Management-Oversee the inventory and warehouse management to ensure all objectives are met, such as timely customer order shipments, inventory turns, LIFO practices, cycle counts and physical inventories. Participate in internal and external audits, including year-end counts.
Customer Order Management- Manage customer order inventory and forecasts and oversee returned materials process and authorizations.
Personnel management- Time keeping, interviewing and selection, retention, advancement, discipline, employees within company guidelines and policies. Furthermore, Develop leadership for future growth. Ensuring training and cross training, establishing and reviewing goals and performance.

저희는 완제품 2개 품목을 수입하여 미국내 고객사에 판매하고 있습니다.
즉, 업무는 한국 본사(한국어)와 베트남 협력사(영어)에 주문하고 미국현지에 제품 도착시 창고 rack 쌓고(창고관리 직원에게 지시), 고객사 주문에 따라 UPS call, ship out.
매월 판매량은 거의 같기 때문에 1년치 PO를 연초에 미리 송부하고(본사 공장 생산계획) 연중 판매량 및 재고상황에 따라 수정 가능.
현재 팀에 미국현지인 Manager 1명과 창고관리(입고,출고) 2명이 있으며 미국현지인 Manager의 한국과의 의사소통이 어려워 한국인으로 대체 채용하고자 함 입니다. 창고관리는 현지인 2명에게 오더내리시면 되며, 재고 부족하지 않게 오더 잘 관리 하면 됩니다.(현재는 제가 재고관리,주문,물류,회계,자금,인사,총무 모두 관리 하고 있으나 join하시게 되면 SCM쪽을 저와 같이 관리하시면 될 것 같습니다)
근무시간은 9~5시 또는 8~4시 10~6시 등 원하시는 시간 근무하시면 되며 연차는 unlimited 연차 제도로 업무에 영향 없도록 사용하시면 됩니다.
총 직원수는 22명이며 한국인 3명과 미국인 19명이 근무하고 있습니다.
한국인 1분은 24년 1월 OPT로 join 하신 후 10월 H1B 받으셨고 근무 중입니다.
업무 난이도가 높지 않기 때문에 너무 높은 경력보단 3~7년정도의 경력자분들께서 지원 해주시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 다 같이 먼 나라에 와서 가정에 충실하고 살아가는게 우선이라고 생각되기에 야근은 없고, 야근 할 업무강도도 아니고 저도 안해본 야근을 혹시 하게 되시면 다음날 휴무하셔도 됩니다.회사 위치는 Salem 뉴햄프셔주이고, 매사추세츠주와 경계선에 있습니다. 저와 다른 한국인분도 집은 보스턴쪽이고 주를 넘나들며 출퇴근 하고 있습니다. 뉴햄프셔주는 income tax가 없으니 이쪽에 거주하셔도 되고, 자녀가 있으셔서 보스턴쪽으로 학교 보내시려면 매사추세츠주에 거주하셔도 됩니다.
