Job Title: Azure -Software Engineer III (Bilingual: Korean/English)

Location: Irvine, CA

PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing software projects and tasks. The role involves direct communication with end users to ensure the systems function correctly and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyze user requests to determine if system modifications are necessary.
Collaborate regularly with users to resolve system-related questions and issues.
Analyze, design, develop, and implement changes related to projects or system enhancements.
Coordinate with other departments within HAEA for cross-functional projects or issues.
Collaborate with external vendors when system integration is required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Decision-making & Discretion: Evaluate complex issues with multiple variables; exercise judgment in choosing appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
External Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders outside of the immediate technical domain.
Reporting: Escalate business-related matters that fall outside the scope of the role to the appropriate supervisor.
Strategy & Planning: Define procedures for new tasks and coordinate activities across teams when necessary.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Hands-on experience with RESTful Web Services, Microservices, .NET, ReactJS, and Node.js (preferred as a secondary skill).
Full stack development experience across web/mobile applications (frontend & backend).
6+ years of consulting experience on Microsoft Azure, including application setup, monitoring, alerts, log collection, performance tuning, etc.
Ability to operate as a junior Azure Architect.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS, SAP BTP.
Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (DevOps role).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred: One or more Microsoft Azure certifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for keyboard use, equipment operation, and information processing.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
Must be proficient with phones, computers, keyboards, printers, copiers, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

TRAVEL:
Occasional travel may be required.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:
Bilingual in Korean and English is required.
