Overview:
This person will lead, design and implement IT solutions in the SCM area that meet specific business requirements in the united states such as EDI interface configuration with all retailers, 3PLs, and GLOBAL FASHION COMPANY SAP. S/he will be a project manager who is responsible for warehouse consolidation project with different WMS system from multiple partners into one and drop ship program for the major US departments next few years, using existing customized GLOBAL FASHION COMPANY SAP.
This position requires a strong understanding of the customized SAP environment of the GLOBAL FASHION COMPANY US. In addition, this position will need strong communication skills to coordinate different projects between teams in the US and Korea which requires language fluency on both English and Korean. S/he will report to the US Business Solution team lead.Responsibilities:
• Implement new IT solution strategy and technical approach that are required to meet US business requirements
• Collaborate with department heads to design solutions of the SAP system to support business needs, and identify feasible solutions within SAP framework; estimate the effort needed to meet those technical requirements and gaps.
• Provides technical guidance on the matters related to the programming of SAP modules (LE, MD, MM & SD) and third-party interfaces to internal or external partners.
• Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy SAP applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
• Performs the overall day-to-day management of multiple projects to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements within SAP System design and implementation.
• Automate administrative and operational functions; Provide training and direction to operational teams.
• Provide technical upgrades as well as functional and technical enhancements.
• Ensure all groups are adequately consulted and are satisfied with each deliverable
• Liaise with vendors or suppliers in relation to the project.
• Collaborate with architects and system owners in the testing of SAP software programs and applications.Preferred Technical Skills:
• Deep business knowledge of supply chain management in the US to identify a gap between customized GLOBAL FASHION COMPANY SAP environment and different functional demands from each region
• Coordinate business processes and develop architect to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness are met.
• Ability to understand complex and customized business process/requirement, and translate into a tangible design, starting from AS-IS or SAP provided out-of-the-box functionality.
• Perform routine program modification, performance tuning, problem-solving, debugging, and unit testing.
• Work closely with business members, SAP functional, and development team to facilitate effective development.
• Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as traceability matrix, workflow diagrams, and use-cases.Requirements:
• 5+ Years SAP project management experience in SCM area with localized function development
• Bachelor’s degree in information system, computer science, or related field
• Technical knowledge on SAP ECC 6.0 IS-Retail version or SAPA on HANA
• Business knowledge of the retail industry in the US market
• Understanding of the US EDI standard structure to map the customized global GLOBAL FASHION COMPANY SAP
• Experience to lead and coordinate both with technology groups and business partners
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adjust priorities in rapidly changing environments; work well under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical or non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent verbal and written communication both in English and Korean
