Job Title: Logistic Business Operation Staff - Chassis Management Contract Period: 1yr. Level: Senior Staff (More than 5 years of experience in a related field) OR Manager (More than 9 years of experience in a related field) Location: Santa Ana, CA (On-site) Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (subject to change) Benefits: Medical / Vision / Dental / 5 Days of PTO (After 90 days) <strong>Responsibilities:</strong> • Ensure optimal chassis allocation and utilization across all operational locations to support seamless logistics performance. • Manage the development and delivery of detailed weekly reports on chassis operations, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. • Monitor private chassis usage by motor carriers to ensure compliance with allocation guidelines and contractual terms. • Act as the primary point of contact with DCLI to coordinate daily chassis releases, resolve issues raised by truckers, and manage damage claims effectively. • Oversee the review and validation of Proof of Possession (PoP) and split Letters of Authorization (LOAs) using Blackberry devices and geofencing technology to ensure accurate tracking and compliance. • Review and auditing of chassis-related invoices and ensure proper documentation and alignment with contracts. • Identify, review, and report misuse cases, ensuring timely notification and submission for approval in accordance with company policies. • Provide customers with weekly market analysis reports, offering insights into trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the chassis and logistics landscape. • Deliver comprehensive weekly updates on union activities, terminal operations, carrier performance, and developments affecting both international and domestic logistics. • Review contract amendments and evaluate spot contracts—including mini-bidding and ODCY agreements—to ensure competitiveness and alignment with operational needs. • Engage with carriers to assess performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement initiatives that drive efficiency and service improvements. <strong>Requirements/Qualifications:</strong> • <strong>5 – 8+ years of experience </strong>in Freight Forwarding Operation or Logistics • <strong>English/Korean Bilingual is required</strong> • Strong understanding of international transportation (especially ocean shipping) / freight forwarding industry • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required • Ability to quickly grasp situations to make decisions to ensure problems are resolved and corrected • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with vendors/customers, and experience with vendor management • Ability to prioritize, ability to shift one’s focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties • Proficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organization • Experience in supervising team members with effective leadership • TMS and WMS system experience preferred • Ability to travel up to 10% in US and international <strong>자격 요건:</strong> • 물류 또는 포워딩 경력 5년 이상 • 영어/한국어 이중언어 필수 • 해상 물류 및 국제 운송 이해도 • MS Office 숙련자 (특히 Excel) • 문제 해결 및 커뮤니케이션 능력 우수 • TMS/WMS 경험 우대 • 출장 가능자 (최대 10%) ** 채용 절차: 서류 전형, 전화 인터뷰, Onsite 인터뷰 ** 지원 및 문의 방법: recruiting@people4nets.com 으로 이력서 송부 (담당자: Katherine), (문의) 214-444-0240 I agree to the terms of service Update List
