Position Overview
The Sales and Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations, production support, and customer satisfaction in the manufacturing sector. This position focuses on end-to-end logistics management, process optimization, and compliance with quality standards, particularly when handling sensitive chemical materials. The role collaborates closely with third-party logistics providers, production teams, and internal departments to streamline operations and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
– Manage the entire sales logistics process — from customer order intake to outbound shipments, delivery, and invoicing — ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
– Oversee and manage the tank container allocation, vehicle scheduling, and logistics resources.
– Coordinate with third-party logistics providers based on delivery timelines and production schedules.
– Support production teams by aligning delivery schedules with resource availability.
– Create, review, and manage SAP picking, shipping, and invoicing documents, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and tracked.
– Maintain dispatch history in SAP/SCM and update ERP systems with customer site registration details.
– Proactively resolve shipping issues and discrepancies to ensure smooth customer deliveries.
– Prepare and distribute essential documents, including Release Orders, Bills of Lading, and Proof of Delivery.
– Provide drivers with necessary documents and assist with customer site registration requirements.
– Respond promptly to customer inquiries and ensure accurate document processing and registration.
– Generate SAP invoices for logistics costs and ensure timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
– Manage customer site registrations, including purchase order balances and barcode tracking.
– Ensure all logistics activities comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, especially when handling sensitive chemical materials.
– Monitor and address shipping errors promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and operational compliance.
– Support operational compliance and quality standards across logistics and operational processes.
– Act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless communication and operations.
– Monitor operational budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency.
– Support operational improvement initiatives, including process enhancements and technology upgrades.
– Analyze sales data and logistics performance metrics (e.g., lead times, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction) to identify improvement opportunities and ensure KPI achievement.
– Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by managementRequirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
– 0-3 years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management in the chemical materials industry.
– Familiarity with SAP, ERP, or similar SCM systems
– Bilingual in English and Korean is required.Benefits
