Job Posting: Quality Inspector
The Quality (QA) Inspector inspects incoming/receiving, in-process, and finished products for compliance with company and industry standards. Assist in the control and traceability of all materials for the goods manufactured. Supports the goals and objectives as established by the Quality System and the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct inspections at incoming, in-process, and final inspections
Read and interpret specifications and part prints
Perform root cause analysis and monitor corrective actions of inspection findings
Communicate with external suppliers
Determine disposition of non-conforming material
Initiate non-conformance reports as required
Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
Develop inspection criteria per inspection plans and specification requirements
Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs non-conformities and generates monthly reportsQualifications and Skills
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector a plus but not necessary
At least 2 years experience in quality in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with common measurement tools, IE, Calipers, Micrometer, radius gauges, and knowledge of basic hand tool a plus
Candidate must be able to read blueprints/technical drawings
Knowledge of ISO standards a plus
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) required
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, and ExcelJob Type: Full-time
