Happy new year.

I have a question about the Exemption number on my paystub.

I just bought a house and I heard that I can increase

the number of exemption on the paystub to get the tax benefit.

My family has 3 members – I, wife and daughter.

And the current exemption number is 3 in federal, 5 in state

on my paystub.

What’s the reasonable number I can use after buying a house?
