This position will coordinate production schedules, monitor inventory and finished goods, arrange outbound shipments, and communicate closely with production, warehouse, transportation, and customer teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. <strong>Key Responsibilities Production Management</strong> Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules and production plans. Track production progress and communicate schedule changes to relevant departments. Monitor raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory. Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials and finished products are available as needed. Maintain accurate production-related records, reports, and data. Identify production or delivery issues and communicate them promptly to management. Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. <strong>Outbound Logistics / Shipping</strong> Coordinate daily outbound shipments and delivery schedules. Communicate with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status. Prepare and review shipping documents, packing lists, and related logistics documentation. Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and follow up on delays or exceptions. Coordinate loading schedules and ensure finished goods are shipped accurately and on time. Maintain shipment records and update logistics systems or spreadsheets. Assist with resolving transportation, delivery, and shipment-related issues. Communication & Administrative Support Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics teams. Provide timely updates regarding production status, inventory, and outbound shipments. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Perform other duties and administrative tasks related to production and logistics operations. <strong>Qualifications</strong> Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in production, logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and outbound logistics processes. Experience communicating with carriers, customers, warehouses, and internal departments. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams. <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, or other logistics/production management systems. Experience coordinating truckload, LTL, or other domestic transportation. Experience with shipping documentation and freight scheduling.
