    Summary of Functions
    A dedicated and professional Production Operator is needed with the ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to industrial machinery operation, visually inspecting, or manually testing products and machine equipment, before, during, or after the manufacturing process.

    Principle Responsibilities
    • Reviews products to accept or reject as necessary.
    • Maintains record of problems found and may send defective products back for repair.
    • Calibrates equipment; attends machines so they operate correctly
    • Investigates and adjusts deficiencies in machine functions.
    • Conducts controlled testing on products to determine product meets customer specifications.
    • Uses instrumentation to perform inspections.
    • May weigh or measure finished product.
    • Inspects workmanship of products and gauge product durability.
    • May perform job duties in various locations such as a workstation, assembly line, laboratory, or QC dept.
    • Utilizes CMM to measure parts for customer.
    • Responsible for ensuring that bad or otherwise unacceptable parts are not received by the customers.
    • Ensures parts meet above standard specifications and are approved acceptable for shipment.
    • Performs complete layout inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicator, to ensure product meets specifications.
    • Visually compares work pieces against one another to assess/detect manufacturing variations in processes.
    • Assists and/or trains operators on part visual acceptability, and measurement and process procedures as required.
    • Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Control Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
    • Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.

    Qualifications
    • High school or equivalent diploma.
    • Will train.
    • Bilingual in English & Korean is required, Spanish is a plus.
    • Knowledge of computer and measuring instruments.
    • Willing and able to work night shift
    • Experience with a manufacturing or processing company preferred.
    • Experience with laser equipment machinery is a plus.
    • Close attention to detail is essential.
    • Good organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient, quick, and comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Flexibility based on plant production schedules.
    • Inspection and measurement experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements
    Work is considered low physical work in an office and production setting, requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform low physical work indoors with minimum exposure to dust.
    Must be able to:
    • Walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
    • Regularly required to sit, stand, use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
    • Will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers or standing for hours at a time.
    • Some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
    • Demonstrate the ability to hear and have specific vision abilities to adjust focus, in an environment subject to noise, dust, etc.
    • Perform all work safely in a fast-paced work environment.

    Starting Wage: $19/hour (hourly, non-exempt)

    Schedule: Monday-Saturday (8-12 hour shifts)
