    Job Summary:
    The Production Manager will oversee front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.

    Supervisory and Responsibilities
    · Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
    · Assist in training front-line employees.
    · Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and work of front-line 100+ employees.
    · Manage production workers’ attendance and work standards according to the company’s policy.
    · Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    · Monitor, control, and improve the DSC Indiana QMS process and Production Document structure
    · Responsibility for auditing the production process and document
    · Ensure Production of the system and IATF16949 process

    Duties and Responsibilities
    · Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.
    · Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all production employees, including supervisors.
    · Oversee a workforce of 100+ employees in the production department.
    · Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.
    · Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in the process.
    · Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including safety and health.
    · Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment. Along with establishing workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
    · Collaborates with other managers to develop and execute budgets and communicates problems or obstacles.
    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    Skill and Qualification
    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    · Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
    · Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    · Minimum five years of experience in the automotive industry. Supervisory experience preferred.
