General Summary:

Coordinate all purchasing related activities between KMMG and Automobile Parts suppliers. Meet with suppliers on a regular basis to determine and optimize progress and discuss future activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to accountabilities below):

•Select, develop and manage supply base for production parts, components and systems by:
•Preparing RFQs for multi-year full production quantities,
•Negotiating long term agreements
•Maintaining competitive pricing
•Leading yearly cost reduction activities
•Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance
•Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective action, where appropriate.
•Develop annual specific expectations for suppliers based on company goals and objectives
•Explore available technology and implement best practices related to purchasing activities
•Evaluate engineering and quality in part designs for suppliers to obtain optimum efficiencies
•Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to production suppliers
•Maintain up to date supply base information database
•Take charge of VAATZ database interaction

QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Competencies):

•Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline and zero (0) to three (3) years of progressively responsible supply chain experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
•OEM or parts components supplier experience preferred
•Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills a must.
