Hi,

I received Ph.D. last year in engineering in California, and currently working at consulting company as an engineer, with holding H-1 visa. I am planning to apply for Green Card soon, and I heard from many friends that the procedure will be changing soon, so the total period to acquire green card will be shortened. Is it true?
