Wooshin systems in Korea is headquarters and one of leading tooling supplier of automotive body shop in the world. Wooshin North America is now seeking a PLC programmer to become a member of WNA as belows. This position is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, debugging and preparation of robots to customer specifications. Primary responsibilities Prepare PLCs to customer specifications Improve cycle time and throughput by adjusting tooling or functions Create and modify Ladder, FBs logic and User Frames Create programs and program complex paths Assist PLC with auto debug Setup interference zones Establish communications to PLC, robots and external equipment devices Assist in the integration, start-up and debugging of plant floor equipment Provide support in the analysis and resolution of welding failures Installation and configuration of appropriate hardware and software options Ability to perform electrical diagnosis, recommend repair or repair as needed Provide on-going customer service Provide support to assembly operators and plant skill trades about robot functionality Properly document changes and updates Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures Travel will be required (Typically 2 weeks at a time with a weekend home for, may vary by distance or customer requirements. Install lengths range from 3 months to a year depending on the size of the job) to customer facilities to set up or modify automation processes impacted by robot issues and resolve such issues Minimum Qualification 2 year’s work related experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Technical Certification in PLC programming preferred (e.g. AB Guard logic, Siemens Integra, Omron safety) Good understanding of mechanical systems Knowledge of MIG or spot welding Ability to read schematics and other drawings Self-motivated and hands on Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Knowledge of at least one of the following PLC systems (AB, Siemens, Omron, etc.) Experience with Microsoft Office Applications Strong written and oral communication skills PLC & HMI: AB Guard Logix, Siemens S7 with TIA portal, Omron Sysmac studio with safety. Networks: Ethernet, Devicenet, Profinet communication with Robots, Sealer, Vision systems, etc. Excellent organization skills with strong teamwork and leadership skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Autocad, ePlan. Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move into and around tooling and climb ladders. Must be able to lift at least 25lbs to load parts into tools as needed Travel: This position often requires out of town and overnight travel.
