Position: PLC Engineer (Technician)
Location: West Point, GA

Main Duties
1. Operate factory automation electrical systems and assess expected service
time of the equipment;
2. Manage proper configuration on assembly machines and electricity control
systems according to the overall electricity distribution flow;
3. Optimize ERP systems and PLC board to prevent any irregular operation in
Projection Welding line
4. Set and implement engineering standards and assembly procedures in our
assembly lines;
5. Analyze the line transportation for forklift and feeder and check the
equipment capacity and occupancy;
6. Coordinate with maintenance engineers in Korea to reduce downtime of the
assembly lines;
7. Plan and implement equipment utilization projects and oversee maintenance,
configuration, and optimization of the equipment;
8. Provide recommendations for improved procedures and processes for
instrumentation, hardware, and ERP/PLC technical matters
9. Provide engineering support for the maintenance and improvement of
production equipment;
10. Oversee preventative engineering maintenance tasks and repair equipment
malfunction and inconsistencies;
11. Initiate, implement, and test change controls in support of corrective actions
and process improvements;
12. Identify potential automation issues and recommend and implement
preventive measures;
13. Maintain maintenance records and transaction documentation including
functional specifications, recipe parameter tables and standard operating
procedures; and

Qualification:
High school degree with more than 10 years in PLC in Manufacturing
4 years college with 5 years exp in PLC.
Siemens PLC exp is required.
