Now Editing “Petition 할 때 Adjustment of Status (I-485)로 할거라고 체크했는데 NVC case number를 받았어요” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) I-130 petition 할 때 Adjustment of Status (I-485)로 할거라고 체크해서 보냈고 4개월 뒤 받은 approval notice에도 adjustment of status로 한다고 indicate 되어있다고 나와있습니다. 얼마 후 변호사를 통해 전달된 이메일을 보니 NVC (National visa center)에서 보낸 이메일이었고 거기에 SEO로 시작하는 NVC case number 가 있습니다. "The National Visa Center (NVC) received the immigrant visa petition filed by (남편이름) on behalf of (내이름) from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services." 로 시작하는 내용이었습니다. 제가 알기로 NVC number는 한국에서 대사관 인터뷰 (consular process) 로 영주권 받는 과정으로 알고 있는데 저는 petition 단계부터 AOS로 한다고 했고 approval notice 에도 AOS로 한다고 되어있고 USCIS에서 NVC로 케이스를 이관해 달라는 I-824 를 신청한 적도 없습니다. 질문1. 제가 NVC number를 받았다는 것은 무엇을 의미하는 것인가요? 질문2. 저의 서류는 USCIS에 있나오 NVC에 있나요? 질문3. 만약 NVC에 있다면 NVC에서 USCIS로 다시 이관하려면 어떤 절차를 거쳐야 하고 기간은 얼마나 걸리나요? 정말 혼란스럽습니다. 답변 절실합니다........
