Grace period는 2주 밖에 안남았는데,
Opt 신청을 한달 전에 했는데도 아직 접수가 안되었어요.
Fee check가 빠져나가지 않은걸로 짐작합니다.
Grace period 안에 접수처리가 되지 않으면 그 다음날로부터 불법체류가 되는건가요? ㅠㅠ
마음이 조급하네요…

접수증이 늦게 발급이 되더라도 이민국에 신청서가 도착한 날짜 기준으로 접수날짜가 결정이 됩니다. 그리고 현재 이민국의 접수증 발급이 매우 늦고 있습니다.

As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, an increase in filings, current postal service volume and other external factors, you may experience a delay of four to six weeks in receiving your receipt notice after properly filing an application or petition with a USCIS lockbox.
