혼자 찾아보다가 도저히 확실한 답을 찾을 수 없어서 질문합니다.

제 OPT는 3월에 끝났고 그 전에 미국인과 결혼을 하게되어서 I-485 apply 후 기다리고 있는 상황입니다.
영주권 신청하면서 I-765도 apply를 했는데요, receipt notice에 현재 EAD 카드가 있으면 expire 된 날로부터 automatically 180 days extension (eligibility category: C09) 된다고 나와있습니다 (물론 언제든 terminate 될수도 있다고도 되어있습니다).

제가 생각하기로는 일이 가능한 것 같긴한데, OPT restriction 처럼 제가 전공한 분야와 related한 일만 할 수 있다는 건지 궁금합니다.

USCIS 에 이렇게 나와있네요. F1 이랑 category 가 안맞으셔서 안될꺼같아요… The Category on your current EAD matches the “Class Requested” listed on your Form I-797C Notice of Action. (Note: If you are a TPS beneficiary or pending applicant, your EAD and this Notice must contain either the A12 or C19 category, but the categories do not need to match each other. In addition, for H-4, E, and L-2 dependent spouses, an unexpired Form I-94 indicating H-4, E, or L-2 nonimmigrant status must accompany Form I-797C).
