현재 H1-B로 학교에서 포닥중입니다.
이곳에서 많은 도움을 얻으면서 EB-2/NIW advanced degree로
영주권준비를 혼자하고 있습니다.
I-140에 관련된 서류를 준비하는데 모르는것이 있어서 여쭙니다.

I-140 Instruction에 보면 아래와 같이 나옵니다.

Advanced Degree의 경우 initial Evidence에 필요한서류내용입니다.

---

1. An official academic record showing that the alien has a U.S. advanced degree or an equivalent foreign degree, or an official academic record showing that the alien has a U.S. baccalaureate degree or an equivalent foreign degree and letters from current or former employers showing that the alien has at least five years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the specialty; or

2. At least three of the following:

a. An official academic record showing that the alien has a degree, diploma, certificate, or similar award from an institution of learning relating to the area of exceptional ability;

b. Letters from current or former employers showing that the alien has at least ten years of full-time experience in the occupation for which he or she is being sought;

c. A license to practice the profession or certification for a particular profession or occupation;
d. Evidence that the alien has commanded a salary, or other remuneration for services thatdemonstrates exceptional ability;

e. Evidence of membership in professional associations; or

f. Evidence of recognition for achievements and significant contributions to the industry or field by peers, governmental entities, or professional or business organizations.

3. If the above standards do not readily apply to the alien’s occupation, you may submit comparable evidence to establish the alien’s eligibility.

이경우 1번 or로 되어있느니까 공식적으로 요구하는 서류는 정말 졸업증명서만 있으면 정말 되는건가요?

정확히 무엇무엇을 준비하라는 것이 없어서 막막합니다.

제가 준비한 서류로는

– 추천서 6통
– 석사, 박사 학위 증명서
– 현재 employment verification letter
– I-140 application form
– publication: first author 3, co-auther 5
– citation
– Check $475

배우자 (현재 F1-CPT)의 것도 함께 신청에 들어가려고 하는데,
이런경우 I-140에 배우자 신청서류로 별도로 필요한것이 있나요?
제 추측으로는 I-485에만 추가로
check이랑 사진, Medical exam등이 필요한것 같은데요.

그리고 I-485를 같이 접수하기 위해
Medical Exam을 받았는데요.
병원에서 의사가 seal을 해서 주더라구요.
이경우 이 seal을 그대로 봉투채로 보내야하는건가요?
아니면 오픈해서 다른서류들이랑 같이 묶어서 보내도 괜찮은건가요?

참고로 seal이니 오픈하면 안되죠.
그리고 여기 게시판에 niw와 eb1b 증빙서류 준비에 대해서 정리해놓은 게시물이 있습니다. cover letter도 쓰시는 것이 바람직합니다. 아.. 그리고 hibrain.net에 자료실에도 좋은 자료들이 많더군요.

안그래도 정리해놓은 게시물을 보았는데,
그 경우는 advanced degree가 아니라 outstanding researcher 카테고리더라구요.
몇가지 서류는 제게 해당이 안되는 것이었구요.
(몇년이상 경력자라는 증명서류의 경우)
그 글에 근거하여 자료를 준비하기는 했는데,
카테고리가 달라서 혹시 더 필요한서류가 있을까해서 여쭙니다.
