미 영주권 5년이 지나서 시민권을 신청하려고 하는데, eligibility worksheet 문항에 대해 질문이 있습니다.

저는 8살, 29살 때 미국에 여행으로 방문을 한 적이 있고, 그 이후 30대 중반에 학생비자로 들어와서 취업 후 미국에 거주 중인데요, 그럴 경우 아래 항목 중 어느 조건에도 부합하지 않는 것 같습니다만.. 시민권 신청할 경우 18세 이상이라는 전제하에 생각을 해도 제 경우에는 답이 없는데 조언해주실 분 계신지요?

(a) I am female, or
(b) I am a male registered with the Selective Service, or
(c) I am a male who did not enter the United States under any status until after my 26th birthday, or
(d) I am a male who was in the United States between the ages of 18 and 26 but who did not register with the Selective Service, and I will send a “Status Information Letter” from the Selective Service explaining why I did not register with my application.
(e) I am a male who was in the United States between the ages of 18 and 26 as a lawful nonimmigrant.

미국 시민권자든 영주권자든 18세부터 26세 사이의 모든 남자는 Selective Service(의무징병등록제)에 등록을 하여야 합니다. 등록을 잘 했는지 보는 질문사항입니다.
그러므로 당연히 C 입니다.

제가 8살에 여행으로 방문했으므로 C의 “did not enter US under ANY status”에서 status가 여행방문은 제외하고 말하는건지 제가 명확하지 않아 질문을 드렸었습니다. 하지만 전체 흐름상 글쓴이님 말씀대로 selective service 관련인 것 같고 답은 C로 하는게 가장 적합할 것 같습니다. 감사합니다.

C 맞아요. 관광 제외. 문장이 지금 보니 헷갈리긴 하네요. Any status라고 하니. 저도 비슷한 케이스인데 시민권 문제없이 받았습니다.
