We’re looking to expand our company with smart, creative, and fun instructors to join our team! RoboThink nurtures geniuses across 7+ states in the United States and 25+ countries around the world. We work with local schools and park districts to run after-school/enrichment classes for students aged 5-14 years. We are looking for friendly, energetic, and confident after-school instructors to teach our after-school classes at various locations across the Novi and Troy in Michigan. We are specifically looking for instructors who are available during the Summer, Fall and Winter of 2024 and Spring of 2025. We are specifically looking for instructors that live in Novi or instructors that live within 20 miles of Novi. Qualifications of Part-Time Teacher: - Able to clear a criminal all Criminal and Child Clearances - Knowledge of robotics/coding is not necessary. - Passion for education K-8 children - Access to reliable transportation. - Bring robotic kits to/from classes and keeping them safe in between classes. Skills: - Supervising classes in an energetic and friendly environment by following the Robothink curriculum. - Confident, Responsible and professional attitude. - Friendly, energetic personality and patience to work with children of all ages. - Passion for educating and teaching. - Must have access to reliable means of transportation to get to classes at varying locations on time. - Experience with children in a learning environment is preferred. - No prior experience in STEM or robotics is needed.
