    드디어 처음으로 미시간에 살면서 State Fair 에 갔다왔습니다. 상업적으로 도배된 parlor 들이며 ride 들이 한국의 난장과 별반 다름이 없다는 걸 느꼈는데 하옇든 22불내고 종일 ride 를 무제한으로 탈 수 있는 wrist band 를 아주 잘 사용하고 흐뭇.
    써커스는 반드시 보세요. 반드시 시작시간을 확인한 후 30분 전에는 입장을 해야 볼 수 있습니다. 안그러면 자리가 적어서 금방 만원이 됩니다. 30불내고 보는 진짜 써커스하고 별로 다를 것도 없고 아주 대만족이었습니다. 입장료 9불내고 이정도면 나쁘지 않는 fair 였다고 생각함. 강추. 그럼 이만.-끝-

      LOCATION
      We are conveniently and centrally located in southeast Michigan at the corner of Eight Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in Detroit – two miles from I-75, three miles from I-696, and eight miles from I-94.

      HOURS
      10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

      FAIR ADMISSION

      $9.00

      $4.00 – Children 12 years of age and under

      FREE – Children 2 years of age and under

      Hand stamps available for same day re-entry

      SEASONAL ADMISSION PASS

      $25.00

      $10.00 – Children 12 years of age and under

      FREE – Children 2 years of age and under

      PARKING

      Parking is $5.00 per vehicle

      Re-entry for parking is NOT permitted

      MIDWAY RIDES

      Midway Hours:

      11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. weekdays

      11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. weekends

      Ride Prices:

      Wristbands to ride all Midway and Kiddie Land Rides

      PAY ONE PRICE, RIDE ALL DAY & ALL NIGHT – $22.00

      Week Days and Weekends, too!

      Individual ride tickets will also be sold

      ENTRANCE POLICIES
      The following are not permitted on the Fairgrounds: alcohol, glass containers, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, motorized vehicles, or pets. Trained dogs are permitted for handicapped guests.

      SPECIAL NEEDS

      Rentals of Strollers, Wagons, Wheelchairs and Electric Scooters

      Strollers: $8 per day (2 for $14)

      Wagons: $12 per day

      Wheelchairs: $10 per day

      Electric Scooters: 1 Hour-$10, 2 Hours-$20, 3 Hours-$30 – All Day: $40

      Locations: Woodward Entrance and Midway Entrance

      On Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays, there will also be a rental location at the State Fair Entrance

      BAND SHELL CONCERT POLICIES
      General admission into the Fair does not guarantee free entry into Concerts in the Band Shell. Video and sound recording devices are NOT permitted in the Band Shell during Concerts. This policy will be strictly enforced by Michigan State Fair Security. Cameras are permitted with a “No Flash” policy dependent upon entertainer.

      INFORMATION BOOTHS
      Information regarding daily events, directions, and souvenir sales can be obtained at information booths throughout the fairgrounds.

      FIRST AID
      First Aid is located on Motor City Avenue, south of the Band Shell.

      LOST CHILDREN
      Young children will be assisted to the Lost Children’s Playground located on the south side of the Fairgrounds (corner of Motor City Avenue and Wolverine Way).

      LOST & FOUND
      Located at Michigan State Police Command Center in the Coliseum.

      PAY TELEPHONES & ATMS

      Located throughout the fairgrounds.

      SOUVENIRS
      A wide variety of great souvenirs and commemorative gift items are available at the Fair stores located throughout the fairgrounds. These include T-shirts, sweat shirts, lapel pins, hats, postcards of the “World’s Largest Stove” and the Michigan State Fair cookbooks. Visit shops located in the Michigan Mart, on the corner of Great Lakes Blvd. & Wolverine Way, and just north of the Band Shell on the southwest corner of Mackinac Strait & Blue Ribbon Blvd.
