    PURPOSE:
    The newly hired Mgr., Network resource will manage internal and external Network and
    telecommunications engineers and systems administrators. Develop and implement business plans,
    policies, and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize internal needs including
    voice, data, and/or video communication. Evaluate results within business unit to determine if
    organizational objectives are being met. Will also analyze and resolve issues and needs as related to
    cost, design, and implementation of telecommunications networks/systems. Note: Must be onsite at
    least 3x each week.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    ~ Develop an annual Business Action Plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the
    implementation.
    ~ Implement policies, procedures and standards to meet customer SLA’s.
    ~ Defines and seeks approval for the resources required to meet these goals and prioritizes and
    schedules major projects.
    ~ Manage Voice and Data staff.
    ~ Responsible for implementing security standards and promoting security awareness throughout the
    department.
    ~ Responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies.
    ~ Direct, attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops to keep up to
    date with Information Technology issues.
    ~ Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
    ~Responsible for identifying risks and prepare short, mid and long-term action plans
    ~On-call 24×7 for operational support and onsite rotation for P1/P2 major incident management and
    emergency response.

    SCOPE:
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY -Manages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.
    Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Makes decisions based on unit
    objectives, as well as company policies and procedures.
    DECISION MAKING/DISCRETION -Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires
    an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and
    evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
    RESULTS – Escalate as needed to address business need when determined to be out of scope of position
    responsibility.
    STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT – Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may
    coordinate activities of other personnel.
    EDUCATION – • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    WORK EXPERIENCE 10+ years’ experience in the IT field.
    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE – ~ Excellent organizational and communication skills ~ Excellent analytical skills ~
    Superior problem-solving skills ~ Ability to interface with all levels of management ~ In-depth
    understanding of data and voice network design and architecture.
    CERTIFICATIONS – Cisco or similar certification preferred. ITIL certification preferred. Cloud (AWS,
    Azure) certification preferred.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity,
    including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read information.
    TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT -Employee must be able to use a telephone, computer, keyboard, printer, copy
    machine, Microsoft Word, Excel
    TRAVEL TIME -Occasional travel may be required.
    Salary Range: ($109,610 to $153,450/yr.
