The Maintenance Engineer position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. <strong> Salary: $50,000</strong> Must be authorized to work in the United States or have the ability to obtain authorization. <strong>Job Duties: </strong> -Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. -Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. -Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. -Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. -Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. -Documents and controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. -Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. -Schedule materials through the production cycle to assure high on-time delivery performance -Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. -Ensures compliance with ISO, OHSAS, IATF and other applicable internal and external audits <strong>Minimum Qualifications: Education Requirements </strong> - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field, or an equivalent number of years of production maintenance experience. <strong>Work Experience Requirements </strong> - minimum 1- 3 years of manufacturing experience; electronic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC strongly preferred. <strong>Skills:</strong> -Excellent reading, organizational, oral, and written communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment and meet deadlines; - Able to work with minimal supervision and be a team player; - Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail - Computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Fluency in the Korean language required <strong>Company Perks:</strong> 5 Paid Time Off (PTO) days Nearly 2.5 weeks of Paid Shutdowns (July 4th week & Christmas week) 5 paid Holidays <strong>Company Benefits:</strong> Medical, Dental & Vision- 70% Coverage 401k (1 year vesting period) Performance-based Incentives (Quarterly Bonuses) Parental Leave If you are interested, please send your resume to jskim@hyundamamerica.com I agree to the terms of service Update List
