Now Editing “Long-term ESPP 팔 때” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) 아이 대학 등록금때문에 그동안 쌓아 두었던 ESPP를 팔려고 합니다. 여러 해를 묵혀 두었기 때문에 이미 long-term gain으로 되어 있는 것들이 많은데 이 경우 capital gain에 대한 세금을 가급적 적게 내기 위해서는 이 중에 cost basis가 제일 높은 걸 파는게 맞지 않나요? 그래야 gain이 제일 적고 그에 대한 세금도 줄 것 같은데 말입니다. 구글에 "which stock to sell first" 검색하니 Fidelity 홈페이지에 Shares with the lowest cost basis are sold first, regardless of the holding period.
