If anyone knows about the job prospects of "minor" or integrated CS degree ...please help or give me some advice. There is a major called "linguistics and CS" at UCLA. It's in linguistics department and people there need to take at least 5 upper division programming classes. Having been really interested in fields like linguistics or philosophy, I found the major linguistics and CS is truly down to earth. It not only fulfills my desire to study more about humanities, but also gives me a little benefits of not being the least marketable person on earth lol. My concern is, will it EVENTUALLY land me a job as other CS majors? There will be 4 lower division programming + 5 upper division programming courses done when I graduate, but less physics and math courses. Much appreciated to some insightful messages! I am an international student and attending a community college right now. T.T if you know what that means. Thank you for reading. . I agree to the terms of service Update List
