GLOVIS Alabama, LLC was established in 2003 as the Company’s very first oversea branch to operate using direct management and foreign logistic systems. GLOVIS Alabama supports not only HMMA’s (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama) production logistics in the field of Consolidation Center, Transportation between GLOVIS Alabama and HMMA and its parts suppliers, Line Feeding inside HMMA but also GLOVIS Alabama operates outside Consolidation Center for local suppliers in the Montgomery area.Summary
This position is responsible for managing inventory levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies, overseeing process and system management. Also, you will be reporting, improving inventory management systems like GCS and JIS, training team members, collaborating with other departments, and supporting overall stable Line/ISC operation.Responsibilities
1. Inventory managing
• Analyze Inventory Discrepancies
• Make Inventory Adjustments and Provide Countermeasures as Needed (Identify/Report/Resolve Operational Errors)
• Manages Inventory Cycle Counts and Annual inventory audit
• Monitor High Discrepancies Parts
• Work On New Vehicle Projects2. Process and System managing and Reporting
• Make Reports (for Incidents, Scrap Parts, Obsolete Parts, Process Improvement)
• Control SOP and SWIS related with inventory
• Assist Additional Projects or Tasks related with inventory accuracy, layout, Part location control
• Provide Education for System Processes to Inventory and Operations Team Members3. Support and Train Team member
• Schedule Task for Team Members & Evaluate Team Member Performance Resolve Conflicts That May Arise
• Conduct Team Member Training for Inventory Team MembersCompensation Range
