GLOVIS Alabama, LLC was established in 2003 as the Company’s very first oversea branch to operate using direct management and foreign logistic systems. GLOVIS Alabama supports not only HMMA’s (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama) production logistics in the field of Consolidation Center, Transportation between GLOVIS Alabama and HMMA and its parts suppliers, Line Feeding inside HMMA but also GLOVIS Alabama operates outside Consolidation Center for local suppliers in the Montgomery area.

Summary
This role combines operational planning, inventory management, and subcontractor/equipment management to ensure efficient execution and cost-effectiveness. The Lineside Inventory and Processing Assistant Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans, managing inventory to meet demand, overseeing the use of equipment, and effectively managing subcontractor relationships to achieve business objectives

Responsibilities
• Be able to versatility on Microsoft Excel and/or Data base control
• Must be familiar with ERP system such as SAP
• Knowledgeable of Inventory reports and cycle count
• Be familiar with Process Analysis of operation
• Able to work with shop operators, give directions and check the feedback
• Have ability to focus on details and quantitative numbers
• Preferred to have experiences on inventory control and cycle count
• Preferred to have experiences on IT system improvements
• Experience with vehicle assembly plants or automotive parts production
• Familiar with using PDA device or bar code scanner
• Be familiar with work layout, location labels understand visualization of parts’ locations
• Knowledge of Asset (Equipment) management, subcontractor evaluation and contract management
• Travel: 10% travel to National & International

Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point required
Must be fluent in both English and Korean languages
Required knowledge in SAP

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
1-3 years of experience within Inventory, Production Control, and Logistics
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
Stand/walk
