JOB TITLE: Webtoon Producer

LOCATION: San Francisco or Los Angeles

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Discovers talented cartoonists in the United States for high profile company’s webtoon service (Mobile & PC English-version).
Guides and manages cartoonists to create timely cartoons suitable for being serviced in internet/mobile devices and setting new trends.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selects high-potential cartoons (especially casual contents) for Webtoon service.
Plans cartoonist development programs to nurture and manage cartoonists efficiently
Nurtures and manages cartoonists selected by the cartoonist development program and public contests.
Communicates with cartoonists.
Retains and develops relationships with people in related industries.
Advertises and run public contests to discover able cartoonists.
Encourages cartoonists to participate in contests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Understands culture of the American or the English-speaking world on a native level.
Native Speaking, Reading and Writing in English.
No difficulty in communicating in Korean
3+ years of working experience in related industries.
Work experience of manager of an online cartoon community or editor in animation/cartoon industry is preferred.
Having a strong affection for cartoons.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Frequent conference calls or business trips to Korea may be required.
Working hour may be subject to change for communication with the headquarter office in Korea.
General duties and responsibilities to operate a branch office may be required.
