J1 포닥 시기에 낸 세금을 돌려받고자 하는데, 영주권 관련 질문이 있습니다.
저는 2024년에 I-140은 제출/승인 상태지만 I-485는 접수하지 않았습니다.
질문 1. 1040-NR의 “Other information” 란에 “Have you ever applied to be a green card holder (lawful permanent resident) of the United States?”는 No인가요?
질문 2. Form 8843에서 “During 2024, did you apply for, or take other affirmative steps to apply for, lawful permanent resident status in the United States or have an application pending to change your status to that of a lawful permanent
resident of the United States?” 란은 Yes 인가요? 여기서 Yes라면 “I-140 접수일 승인일 간략히 쓰면 될까요? 그리고 여기서 Yes일 경우 세금환급금도 달라질까요?

Sprintax에서는 영주권 지원 여부만 물어서 No라고 하고 프린트했는데 Form 8843에 “other affirmative steps”가 특히 의문이라 질문 올립니다.
