Helpdesk Technician
Responsibilities:
1. Provide local and remote IT support for Windows and MacOS users
2. Record, update and escalate requests using ticketing system
3. Handle IT asset deployment and collection, tracking inventory of all assets
1. Includes packaging and shipment of assets to remote users
4. Process employee on/off boarding
5. Maintain and Keep track of all IT assets
6. Miscellaneous tasks assigned by IT managerRequirements:
1. Minimum 2 years experience working within a service/helpdesk environment
2. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
3. Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products
4. Working knowledge of ticketing systems
5. Ability to lift 30 lbs over, carry light loads up and down stairs, crouching or crawling as the situation demands.Desirable:
1. Good understanding of computer support and troubleshooting
2. Familiarity with corporate network structures (DHCP, VLANs, Subnets)
3. Experience administering small-medium size corporate server rooms
4. Working knowledge of Linux based machines
5. Experience in installing/running cables for server installations in racks
6. Creation and maintenance of IT documentation
7. Experience supporting users remotely with VPN client issues
