Intercare has an immediate need for a large male that has experience working with children with autism. This applicant should feel comfortable working with a 150 lb boy that has aggression and non-compliance. Therapist would be properly trained for appropriate protocol for follow-through and safety.

General Job Description
The therapist serves as a member of the clinical team providing direct services in the home and school settings under the guidance of a Case Specialist, Supervisors, and Clinical Management Team.

Job Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Case Specialist/BID, and the upper Clinical Management Team, the Therapist will be responsible for providing services to children with developmental disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to children with autism and related disorders in schools, home, and clinic
• Attends scheduled sessions and implements one-to-one behavior intervention services with clients and families
• Attends team meetings, relates observations, and demonstrates behavior interventions and programs
• Implements behavior intervention strategies as decided upon in team meetings and/or as directed by a Case Specialist/BID or Supervisor
• Implements program changes as decided upon in team meetings and/or as directed by a Case Specialist or Supervisor
• Documents session times on Sign-In Sheets and Timesheets, and obtain caregiver signatures
• Completes timesheets accurately and completely and submits timesheets by deadline
• Report any incidents and communications from the parents to the Supervisor
• Attend to other duties assigned and/or approved by a Supervisor, or the Clinical Management Team

Job Requirements:
• BA REQUIRED. Preferred in the field of psychology, sociology, or other related field, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) preferred
• At least some prior experience in human services preferred
• Bilingual Spanish or Korean is a plus
• Excellent personal and professional references
