I am in Connecticut and I filed I140, I485, EAD and AP to Vermont Service Center and here are some additional notifications from them:
02/09/05: Received EAD (employment authorization card)
02/14/05: they contacted my attorney for my new photos (*** Please make sure that they are NOT digital photos and that they have a white background)
04/15/05: Fingerprint Appointment Scheduled
Here is a summary of my Visa Status prior to green card application.
1) F-1 (Masters Degree: Entered in the U.S. in 05/1995 and graduated in 01/1997)->
2) Received EAD (1 year practical training Visa; started from 01/1997 till 01/1998)->
3) H1B (6 years with 3 different companies in marketing fields: Started from 04/98 till 09/2004) ->
4) Started LC Procedure:
i) ran 4 straight classified Ads for marketing specialist in local paper and Web site.
ii) reviewed and selected the qualified candidates.
iii) conducted the interviews and demonstrated why those candidates are not qualified for this position.
iv) submitted all the documents to the U.S. Dept. of Labor (05/2002)
v) Received the Labor Certificate (11/2004)
5) Filed for the Green Card as an EB-3 (Marketing Specialist)-EAD, AP, I 140 and I 485 (Dates are listed above).
6) Received the EAD on Feb. 8, 2005 and my attorney received a letter that they need new two passport pictures for my AP and resubmitted.
