안녕하세요!! 저번에도 같은 내용으로 글을 올렸는데요, 헷갈려서 다시 올립니다!!!
제가 이번 6월 중반에 opt 비자가 만료가 되요. 다행이도 stem에 속하는 전공이여서 stem 24개월 연장을 할 수 있습니다. 그런데 헷갈리는점이 I 983 form 작성하는데 있어서 맨 마지막 페이지에 “evaluation on student progress” 와 “final evaluation on student progress 작성하는 칸이 있는데요, 저번에 여기에다가 물어봤었을때 “evaluation on student progress”은 STEM OPT 가 1년 지난시점에 제출하라고 해서 evaluation on student progress 만 안 채우고 학교측에 검토해달라고 보냈는데 마지막 page도 제출하라고 해서 어떤게 맞는건지 헷갈립니다.. 현재 9개월차 일하고 있고 1년이 되려면 2개월 정도 남았는데 opt 연장 신청할 때 작성하는게 맞는건가요.. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

만약에 1년 후에 작성 하는게 맞다면 1년 후에 evaluation 작성해서 누구한테 보고해야 하는건가요..?

stem opt 연장시에는 쓸필요없구요 self evaluation 입니다. 나중에 본인이 작성해서 dso한테 업데이트.

답변감사합니다. 저도 여러 블로그나 사이트들도 봐보면 나중에 작성하는것 같긴 한데 학교측에서는
i 983 form instruction 링크를 하나 보내주면서 이것좀 보면서 작성하라고 했는데 ,
거기 맨 마지막장에는 이렇게 나와있어서요.. “Evaluation on Student Progress:
Student evaluations are shared responsibility of both the student and the employer to ensure that the student’s practical training goals are being satisfactorily met. The student is responsible for conducting a self-evaluation based on his or her own training progress. The employer must review and sign the self-evaluation to attest to its accuracy. The student submits the first assessment within twelve months and a final evaluation that recaps all the training and knowledge acquired during the complete training period. Enter the range of the student evaluation dates ( the timeline for which this evaluation is relevant)”
학교측에서 보내준걸 보면 12개월 안에 작성하는것 같기두 하구요..휴 뭐가 맞느지 잘 모르겠네요…

STEM OPT가 2020년 6월에 시작되는거 아니신가요? 아직 시작도 안했는데 그 파트를 작성하라는건 좀 이상한데요.

좀 길긴 하지만 자세히 내용이 나와있네요.
