If you have a similar experience as the following, please share your information with me.
I am working in U.S. with I-797 (H1B approval notice), but I don’t have H1B Visa on my passport since I haven’t visited Korea recently.
I moved to Maryland from other state in this month, and visited Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to apply for my driver lincense.
I heard from a staff in there that only I-797 (H1B approval notice) is not acceptable as a substitute of H1B Visa for my driver license application. Is that true?
If so, I will need to visit Korea to obtain H1B Visa so that I will be able to get my driver license.
Is there anyway to resolve this issue?
Thank you so much in advance.
