Summary
The Senior Analyst – Parts Logistics position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated with the Parts Distribution business. Their tasks include, but are not limited to, daily monitoring, analyzing relevant data, formulating reports, developing presentations, providing support with selecting and managing carriers, preparing network optimization studies, and developing and monitoring annual business plans as related to parts distribution.
Responsibilities
Oversee Parts Distribution Daily Operations
Directly investigating and troubleshooting daily operational issues
Monitor daily operations as related to Parts Distribution
Maintain consistent daily communication with carriers and customers to ensure seamless resolution
Fulfill customer requests for KPI reporting
Assist with development of KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of the carriers/service providers
Maintain open dialogue with other departments to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
Billing Forecast & Accruals, Departmental Projects, and RFP
Prepare analysis, projections, and forecasts as they relate to Parts Distribution
Assist with all business activities with EDI and manual invoicing
Reporting & Analytics
Assist in financial and operational due diligence, when applicable, by collecting and analyzing financial and operational data
Collect historical data, and research/consider trends (from an internet source or target company’s internal systems) to develop a reasonable forecast
Prepare project status reports, profitability reports, executive summaries and presentations as needed
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly KPI reports: on-time, claims and exceptions
Formulate project reports as requested by Finance and/or Operations departments
Develop recommendations and prepare necessary approval documents for management in Operations and Finance
Support annual business plan preparation
Participate software development and/or system improvements as related to parts distribution
Other duties as assignedCompensation Range
$58,000 – $63,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Bachelor’s Degree Required
3 – 5 Years of Experience in Logistics, Accounting, Finance Required
4 – 7 Years of Experience in Logistics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Distribution in Automotive industry Preferred
Experience in Finance, Statistics, and/or Consulting Preferred
Microsoft Excel and/or PowerPoint Training PreferredPhysical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing, and usage of scanner and tablets
Possible exposure to change in temperature in an indoor/outdoor building
Possibility of domestic travel – 5%
