    Summary

    The Manager – High & Heavy (HoT) will contribute to expanding the company’s freight forwarding services by identifying business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, logistics and freight forwarding needed to further expand the company’s market presence. 

    Responsibilities

    Sales and Revenue Support
    Assist in identifying new business opportunities in freight forwarding, including air and ocean freight, drayage, and over-the-road trucking services
    Support senior business development managers in meeting sales targets by actively engaging in client meetings, negotiations, and proposal writing
    Monitor and track sales performance data, helping to prepare reports and insights for senior management
    Client Relationship Management
    Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring regular communication and providing assistance with their logistics and transportation needs
    Assist in onboarding new clients by understanding their requirements, providing solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
    Support senior team members in resolving client issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction
    Market Research and Analysis
    Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to assist in identifying potential business opportunities
    Strategic Alignment with Headquarters
    Collaborate closely with Korean Headquarters to understand and execute the global business strategy at the local level
    Provide regular updates and reports on market trends, customer needs, and business performance to ensure alignment with corporate objectives

    Act as the liaison between the local branch and headquarters, facilitating smooth communication and strategy implementation
    Reporting and Documentation
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress
    Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for senior management
    Collaboration with Operations and Finance
    Work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and that financial goals are met
    Coordinate with operations to manage freight shipments, resolve logistical challenges, and meet client expectations
    Other duties as assigned

    Compensation Range

    $94,000 – $105,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

    Skills

    Intermediate MS Excel, Power Point, Word and database management Required
    General understanding of the Supply Chain Management and the logistics industry Required
    Understanding of the full range of Freight Forwarding services, including movement scheduling, monitor and control services, cost optimization, and various industry specific requirements Required 
    Ability to establish business plan and proceed new business developments/projects Required
    Must be proficient with PCs Required

    Education & Experience

    H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
    Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    7 – 10 years of related experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics Required
    1 – 3 years of supervisory experience Required
    8 – 13 years of related experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics Preferred
    4 – 7 years of supervisory experience Preferred
