    Summary

    The Administrator – West Coast W&D position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated to the Parts Distribution business. Their responsibilities will include analyzing relevant data, formulating reports, developing presentation, supporting with selecting and managing carriers, prepare network organization studies and support new business development. 

    Responsibilities

    Provide general 3PL operations such as Inbound, Outbound, In-Land, and Warehouse/Distribution operation services
    Coordinate the exportation of good by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
    Ensure all bookings accurate and update accordingly
    Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and process all import/export documentation to clearing agents to include: (HAWB’s, MAWB’s, AES’s, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin, etc.)
    Dispatch pick-ups to authorized agents and drayage companies, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, clearing agents, warehouses, and all other parties involved in the shipment
    Coordinate and monitor regarding the transportation of cargo with customers and provide assistance for customer satisfaction. regarding documentation, inland deliveries, and customs related operations
    Analyze the volume of inbound/outbound shipments by: managing daily ETA and tracking reports with customers, tracking/locating customer order statuses daily, distributing delivery schedules reporting supply chain interruptions to internal and external accounts, and supporting and maintain supply chain issues
    Support insurance claims for cargo damage/accident/customer claims in related parties
    Daily Coordination with Customer Inquiries
    Monitor and support all cargo moves
    Coordinate urgent cargo deliveries to ensure production lines of the customers
    Manage/control with operations, customers and truckers to minimize unnecessary costs
    Update Genisys system & all related systems such as IATA, TSA and other
    Manage airline storage charges
    Provide tracing reports to the customers to prevent/minimize cost
    Manage damaged cargo for filing any claims to airlines
    Coordinate Internal/External Communication to Enhance Operations
    Coordinate with various departments
    Corrective action required such as addition banding or wrapping on outside of cargo when it needed
    Outbound logistics team and customers for completion of urgent delivery orders in a timely manner
    Other duties as assigned

    Compensation Range

    $68,000 – $78,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required

    Knowledge of bonded cargo management, customs regulations including C-TPAT program, TSA Security requirements, and relevant compliance standards specific to warehouse operations Preferred

    Education & Experience

    H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
    Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    5 – 8 years of related experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management Required
    6 – 9 years of related experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management Preferred
