My application receipt date is September 3, 2013.
I received the labor permit/travel permit for my spouse sometime in November.
Mine is being processed at Texas Service Center.
According to the USCIS website, the TSC is processing something they received in October as of March sometime.
So, supposedly, mine should have been approved sometime in February.

I did ask my lawyer and he kept saying to wait.
And finally, he told me he mailed a written inquiry sometime in April and kept saying to wait until he gets a response from USCIS…

I am just so frustrated.
How long does it normally take to get the i-485 approval which is being processed at TSC?
Supposedly, 5.5 months according to its website.
Is this website really trustworthy?

Anyone who actually received an approval that was processed at TSC?

I just checked the website again.
They just changed the status to card production.
I am supposed to receive the cards in 30 days.
It was a frustrating journey for me.
I got this crappy job as a 3rd priority and waited forever.
I hope no one goes through this ordeal ever again.

I started my job on 1/1/2007.
I discussed with my employer about greencard and my boss said yes but they started the stupid process in 2009 and finally applied in 2010.
So, I had to wait another eternity just for my PD available for visa crap or something.
Finally, I got to apply i-485 in September 2013.
and waited another 8 months.

I did really hard try not to use offensive words here…
Gosh…this is a really crazy process.
And it is a matter of luck.
if you can find a short cut…through korean relatives, do that…
