The Atlanta office of a national, Am Law 100 law firm seeks an Immigration Specialist/Paralegal to work with attorneys in its business immigration practice. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience with employment-based immigration matters, specifically in preparing H-1B, L-1s, E-2s, TNs. Immigrant visa experience is a plus.
Tasks Performed, May Include:
• Assist with employment-based cases, as well as some family-based and naturalization cases;
• Draft forms and support letters for review by attorney’s and senior team members;
• Prepare petition and application packages before submission to government agencies;
• Organize and maintain accurate records in immigration case management systems for all assigned matters;
• Review intake documentation needed for specific case types to ensure accuracy and completeness;
• Perform statutory, case law and public records research to understand legal requirements that apply to specific cases, when necessary.Requirements
• Fluency in Korean and/or Mandarin is preferred;
• Outstanding case management and organizational skills;
• Proficiency with basic software and immigration programs;
• Strong communications and writing skills with attention to detail; and
