내년에 7월에 OPT가 끝나는데 그러면 그때부터 10월 다시 일 시작할때까지는 보험을 취소하나요? 회사에서는 제가 그동안에 미국에서 나가있어도 되고. 아니면 grace period 두달동안 일하고 한달만 나가고 월급은 현금으로 받아도 된다 하는데.

어떻게 됐든 서류상으로는 전 일하지 않는걸루 될텐데 그 동안에 회사보험을 받을수 있나요? 나중에 영주권 신청시 문제가 되진 않나요?

You’d better ask your HR. In my case, I had no problem with my health insurance. The point is they consider my leave is vacation without pay.
I was kind of similar situation. I had one-month gap between OPT and H-1B. I couldn’t work and get paid for a month, which means I couldn’t pay for my health insurance for a month either.
I asked HR in my company, and they said my health insurance would be still valid during my leave. I needed to pay back my insurance fee (including fee for one month gap) when I came back to work. For example, I used to pay insurance 200 dollars every month. They will take 400 dollars from my first salary after I come back to work from my break.
