저희는 집안 온도를 65도에 홀드 시켜 놓고 지내고 있읍니다.

그런데 지난 목요일인가 부터 홀드되어진 온도는 65도로 그대로 인데,
current 온도는 62도에서 60도 사이에서 왔다 갔다하고 더이상 올라가지 않습니다.

즉 Furnace가 작동은 하는데 (작동 합니다.) 적정 온도(65도)가 되기 전에 꺼져 버립니다.

Furnace에 문제가 있는 걸까요?
아니면 Thermostat에 문제가 있는 걸까요?
사실 둘다 그리 오래되지는 않았읍니다. (한 5년 정도)

그리고 손쉽게 체크해 볼만한 상황은 무엇이 있을까요?

Is this a heat pump or regular furnace?

그냥 평범한 (honeywell) furnace 입니다.

If that’s the case then,
I would put the thermostat to 75 or so and see if the room temperature rise or not.
If it does, then you have a thermostat problem (replace it).
If the room temperature stays at 60-62 like you said before then you have a furnace problem.

Also when a thermostat calls for heat, the furnace kicks on and it will run until the room temperature reaches whatever the thermostat is set at. If the furnace shuts down before, then you have a problem with the furnace.

One more, if you can tell us what model of furnace you have, it would be easier for us to troubleshoot.

몇년전 유사한 경험이 있는데….

혹시 전기로 돌아가는 작은 fan이 있을겁니다.

이게 제대로 돌지 않으면 온도가 올라가지 않더군요.
