    Overall Job Duties

    This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely
    with the HR team in supporting California region. This position carries out responsibilities in the
    following functional areas; payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, training,
    performance management, onboarding, policy & procedure implementation, recruitment/employment,
    risk assessment, and employment law compliance.

    CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

     Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists
    in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and
    maintains employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
     Conducts recruitment effort for open positions and new employee orientations.
     Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
     Conducts manpower management of distribution center; monthly report of turnover rate by job
    functions, categorize by voluntary and involuntary quit, proper management of overtime and
    breaks.
     Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and
    revises as necessary upon the guidance of upper management team.
     Performs payroll/benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting,
    approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
     Manage employee time sheet hours, overtime, and breaks.
     Maintains human resource information system records and complies reports from the database.
     Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefit laws and
    regulations.
