    Position : Field Service Engineer
    Location: Walnut Creek, California

    Field Service Engineer (FSE), tech support and warehouse support

    A. Responsible for performing service maintenance and repair needs of instruments at customer’s sites and keeping meticulous records. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and business partners
    B. Oversee and maintain warehouse operations. Responsible for receiving and shipping, warehouse supply needs. Keep record of warehouse inventory.
    C. Provide basic tech support

    Job responsibilities
    A. The FSE performs the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.
    B. Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment and software
    C. Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications
    D. Regularly report activities
    E. Keep meticulous records of all service related activities
    F. Keep records of shipping and receiving products.
    G. Organization and proper storage of all warehouse inventory.
    H. Maintain all packaging materials supply.
    I. Keep electronic record of all warehouse inventory.
    J. Provide basic technical support to customers.

    Qualifications
    The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.
    A. Bachelor’s degree or above, Mechanical Engineering or related field
    B. Fluency in written and spoken Korean and English required.
    C. Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
    D. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

    Working Conditions
    A. Communication with customer is necessary after regular business hours or during the weekend in case of emergency or customer requests
    B. Up to 40% travel to other states for instrument maintenance, installation, repairs, etc.
    C. Report daily for warehouse duties
