Summary
We are looking for a Jr. Technical & Engineering Specialist to establish the service processes/protocols
and the service center for the US region. This position will support verifications and validations for FDA
approval and perform all types of technical service activities throughout the product lifestyle.Responsibility
– Support the establishment of the US service center.
– Develop the customer service plan and relevant processes/protocols.
– Support the verifications and validations in the US for FDA approval.
– Coordinate and perform system delivery and installation.
– Perform all types of scheduled maintenance activities including, but not limited to, preventive
maintenance, field actions, system recalls, software updates, and upgrades.
– Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all KY products in accordance with procedures and within assigned time frames.
– Perform system inspections at the service center.
– Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on the incoming KY products from hospitals to the service center.
– Complete all administrative duties which include, but not limited to, managing spare parts
inventory, reporting field activities, VOC and complaints, etc. within the prescribed time frames.
– Provide feedback to HQ and take part in continuous improvement projects as required to improve
processes and efficiencies.
– Support product planning activities through on-demand technical/clinical information researches and design reviews.
– Keep customers up-to-date regarding their open requests, build and maintain good customer
relationship and deliver high-quality customer service.
– Provide training for colleagues and customers.
– Support exhibitions and perform system demonstrations as required.
– Be well-acquainted with O.R. protocols and HIPAA standards.
– Acquire and Maintain necessary credentials of assigned hospitals by completing hospital-required
training, vaccination and documentation.Qualification
– Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in mechanical, biomedical, electrical, or computer engineering, or equivalent.
– Prior experience in participating in or supporting the development of capital equipment in the
field of the medical device is preferred.
– Ability to apply one’s technical knowledge to solve complex problems, potentially ones not previously encountered.
– Ability to evaluate multiple customer issues and set priorities.
– Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.
– Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
– Project management experience/skills.
– Comfortable with Travel up to 40%
– Must be able to travel to HQ in Seoul, Korea for training ( 영주권자/시민권자 우대)
