Fidelity 담당자는 전화로 문의해 보니 잘 모르겠다고 하네요. 작년에 주식을 사서 게인을 얻고 팔았는데 영주권이 있음에도 불구하고 Fidelity의 전상상의 실수로 업데이트가 되어 있지 않아 천불 정도 Federal Income Tax Withheld로 떼어졌구요. Fidelity에서 온 1099-B에서는 이 금액에 대해서 어떻게 deduction을 file 하는지에 대해서는 전혀 설명이 없고 문의했던 담당자도 잘 모르겠다고 하네요. IRS에선 따로 온 레터는 없는 상황이구요. 이럴 경우 Federal Income Tax Withheld로 미리 떼어져 나간 금액에 대해서 어떻게 해야 할 지 경험이 있으신 분께 조언을 미리 구해 봅니다. I agree to the terms of service Update List
