This rule applies to the following students: Students who have had their student record terminated (i.e., been out of status) for more than five months; and Students who have spent more than five months outside of the United States during an absence from school, excluding those participating in authorized study abroad programs. -- 이렇게 규정이 있는데요... 제가 좀 더 정확히 알고 싶은 건: 1. 5개월이 연속해서 쭉- 5개월을 미국 밖에서 보냈을 때를 말하는 건지, 아니면 academic year 전체를 통틀어서 5개월 (예를 들어 가을학기에 2개월, 겨울에 1개월, 봄학기에 2개월 이런 식)도 해당되는 건가요? 2. 만약 연속해서 5개월을 떠나있을 때만 해당하는 거라면 중간에 잠깐 1주일 정도 미국에 들어왔다가 다시 출국하면 다시 리셋되는 것인가요? 참고로 저는 내년에 해외 연구를 준비 중입니다. 답변 감사하겠습니다.
