Now Editing “Entry Level Supply Chain Analyst – Irvine, CA(remote considered)” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) Company * Location Expires at Job Opening – Entry Level Supply Chain Analyst for Raw Materials & Consumables Irvine, CA, Full time hire position - * Please send your resume to michael@goodmantalks.com Great employee benefits: full medical/dental, 401k matching, child tuition assistance Pay rate: Negotiable, DOE - Entry Level Supply Chain Analyst for Raw Materials & Consumables (Production) Responsibilities • Monitoring inventory (Raw materials and Consumables for production) • Analyze Data • Proactively provide accurate information for database and provide periodical supply and demand status reports • Responsible for daily replenishment procurement • Act as a liaison between production team and suppliers • Liaise and coordinate between all business functions: production, cultivation, warehousing, sales, marketing, finance, accounting, procurement • Overseas import and export documentation • Issue appropriate Purchase Orders • Establish initial procurement order streams to match supply with demand on a Just-in-time (JIT) basis. • Resolve payment issues with vendors and accounts payable in a timely manner • Work with Category, Ordering and Change Management team to define and resolve issues with order requests of materials and also develop process improvements along with standardizing ordering process • Collaborate with suppliers and establish monitoring processes, where applicable, to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance • Align with various teams to develop network level forecasting and ensure Procurement’s resource requirements are met in all new site launches • Communicate building launch plans with Category, Procurement Operations teams, and cross-functional organizations • Define key performance indicators – develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives • Partner with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions • Identify and/or eliminate project related barriers for team members and partners • Continuously improve current processes • Support new product demand forecasting and supply planning • Support ERP/Production System implementation, SAP & PMIS • Standardize and centralize supply and demand reporting, creating consistent and repeatable reporting processes • Track ongoing sales trends and demand levels in each item and inform the supply chain signal to support • Track and inform upcoming harvest schedule Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar relevant field required • Basic understanding of all levels of the supply chain process (inventory planning, procurement, transportation) • IT experience background or IT based education preferred, not required • Proficient in Korean Language (speaking, writing, typing, listening) • SAP/PMIS experience preferred, not required • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables minimum) • Passion for problem solving, critical thinking, and continuous improvement in a fast paced, growing, and quickly evolving supply chain and industry • Ability to communicate complex information in a digestible format across various modes (email, phone, video conferencing) and levels of the organization (front line, hourly production team as well as executive leadership) • Organized and detail-oriented • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday, full-time * Please send your resume to michael@goodmantalks.com I agree to the terms of service Update List
