    We are seeking an individual with 1-3 years experience in commercial or industrial estimating and purchasing.

    College education desired. Computer skills a must. Job duties include estimating new plans, working with vendors and contractors, researching new products and providing input, working with architects and engineers, reviewing invoices, preparing special pricing requests and working with the management team. Must be able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.

    We are a local construction company specializing in industrial projects in Alabama and Georgia. We are very oriented towards customer service. We value our employees and have a terrific work environment.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $36,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year

    l Monday to Friday, and Saturday (Saturday work depends on project load)

    Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)

    Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma

    One location (Duluth, GA)

    Purchasing Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Place purchase orders

    Create & revise purchase orders into the computer system

    Handle problem invoices from payables

    Distribution of completed purchase orders and packing lists of materials

    File purchase orders

    Finding new vendors, supplies, parts, etc. within a mile range of a specific area

    Assist Director of Pre-Construction Dept. and Manager of Purchasing with administrative support.

    High Volume calling and data management

    Other tasks as assigned

    Administrative Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Perform general office duties such as making copies, filing documents, processing mail, and answering phones

    Provide assistance to executives and project managers

    Assist in payroll time entry for Financial Dept.

    Draft various documents and reports as needed

    Plan and execute lunches, meetings, and travel

    Sort and distribute mail

    · Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or higher

    Minimum of 1 years of experience in an Administrative role and/or a college degree

    Purchasing or Construction experience preferred

    Familiar with facility maintenance and/or commercial construction

    Strong knowledge of all Microsoft programs

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to speak with internal and external customers

    Ability to work with minimal supervision

    Respond well to constructive criticism and direction

    Ability to perform several tasks efficiently under tight deadlines

    Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
